The Fifth World Science Forum 2011

The Fifth World Science Forum 2011 On a New Era of Global Science was organized in Budapest on 17-19 November 2011 by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

The Forum at its concluding session adopted a Declaration. In its recommendations the Declaration identified five areas for particular attention.

Call for EU Researchers application to an EU-Mexican Researchers Brokerage Event

The FP7 Capacities project Access2Mexcyt announces a call for applications for EU researchers in an EU-Mexican Researchers Brokerage Event, taking place in Mexico City, on February 28-29, 2012.
The aim of the event is to promote the participation of European researchers into Mexican research funding opportunities in the Energy sector as well as in the Mobility schemes offered by Mexican organisations.

Republic of Moldova

A Memorandum of Understanding for the association of the Republic of Moldova to FP7 was signed on 11 October 2011.

The Republic of Moldova will become formally associated to the 7th EU Framework Programme (FP7) from 1 January 2012.

EU-SEE offers:

The scholarships for undergraduate, master, doctoral and post-doctoral students and staff are financed by the European Commission.

The scholarship will cover travel, insurance, tuition fees and subsistence allowance.

A new opportunity has arisen for funding research projects from Albanian research institutions or individual researchers. The Regional Research Promotion Programme has just announced the new wave of funding for interested researchers and research institutions.
